City Sports Center Arena (CSC) is a two sheet facility located in downtown Detroit, two blocks North of Jefferson between McDougall and St. Aubin.
Home to local high schools Grosse Pointe South and U of D Jesuit, two youth hockey programs, Wayne State University Women’s Hockey, and the country’s largest adult recreational hockey program, CSC is truly a jewel of an arena! Open year-round, CSC hosts several tournaments and hundreds of hockey games for boys, girls, teens, college students, and adults. CSC has private locker rooms for some home teams and clean public locker rooms for incoming teams, officials, and guests.
A former health and fitness center, the Arena was modified and now hosts two NHL regulation size ice surfaces. The first surface was installed in 1993 and was followed closely by the second in 1994.
Our privately owned facility is proud to provide our athletes with quality programming in a clean, safe and well-maintained atmosphere.
Our mission is to provide exceptional service to our athletes and guests with a courteous, trained, family-oriented staff.
You are welcome to contact us with inquires about events hosted at CSC or about having your own event at the Arena.
